- Originating from Bo Dau village, Thai Nguyen - Bo Dau chung cake has become famous because it can make fragrant, flexible, green cakes and leave a unforgettable impression for any diners who have tasted to try on.
- Bo Dau chung cake is made from specialty sticky rice of Dinh Hoa mountain forest in a mountainous midland district of Thai Nguyen province.  Picking out all of pebbles, the black seeds and nuts are mixed in, then cleaned, soaked in water for a few hours to make the rice dilate, drain, mix with a little salt and prepare the package.
- Leaves for wrapping cakes are Dong leaves, which are thick, green, and wide.
